The President of WECP, Barney Crockett, the Aberdeen City Lord Provost, led the panel for the virtual Energy Export Conference along side Mayors Danny Breen (St. John’s, Canada), Jaime Pumarejo (Barranguilla, Columbia) and Energy Industries Council.

Highlights of the presentation included strategies to accelerate net zero carbon emissions. Aberdeen City as an energy transition zone will champion the Net Zero Emission campaign as a model for other WECP cities.

The collaboration is for shared economic prosperity and development in line with energy transition and best practice.
